For this age of web design and interface design, you cant live without using Twitter bootstrap elements.
We have been using it on all the Joomla websites we did since last year. Its quite light weight, good looking and has a feel of web 2.0 too. Joomla 3.0 latest has twitter bootstrap integrated, but if you are looking to integrate twitter bootstrap into Joomla 1.5 or 2.5 , then you will need do that in the code . Its a matter of just calling the Twitter Bootstrap asset files in your index head tags and you are done.
Once that is placed, you may use kind of bootstrap css tags and styles, which will automatically show the expected element of bootstrap. I love it!
Here is how to do it :
- Open your FTP file manager
- Goto templates/your_active_template/
- Open its index.php file or the file, which has your head tag for the frontend
- Just place this two lines of code before the end of the head tag.
< link rel="stylesheet" href="https://netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/twitter-bootstrap/2.0.4/css/bootstrap-combined.min.css" / > < script src="https://netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/twitter-bootstrap/2.0.4/js/bootstrap.min.js" >< /script>
